Tightening the chain

1. The Pukka is designed with an easy-to-adjust
chain system. The motor is mounted on
a pivoting bracket that allows the motor
to rotate forward and backward. Adjust
the tensioning bolt on the motor mounting
plate to move the motor forward to the
desired position.
2. With your ignition key removed,
check the tension of the chain. Adjust
the bolt until the chain has about
1/2 inch of play.
3. If your tensioning bolt has a
lock nut, tighten the nut against
the motor mounting plate to keep the
tensioning bolt from moving and loosening
your chain.
